Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on May 21 issued a directive requesting the improvement of occupational hygiene and safety, given the recent occurrence of consecutive serious accidents.

The National Council on Labour Safety and Hygiene held a dialogue in the central province of Quang Nam on May 3, drawing more than 200 participants across the nation.

The National Week for Occupational Safety and Health – Fire and Explosion Prevention began in the northern province of Hung Yen on March 20.
