The Vietnamese team earned a bronze medal and three certificates of excellence at the 47th WorldSkills Competition in Lyon, France. This marks the fifth time Vietnam has won a medal at the WorldSkills Competition.

Vietnamese contestants Nguyen Thanh Tung and Nguyen Xuan Thai have won two silver medals at the WorldSkills Competition 2022 Special Edition held in Germany.

Vietnam will send 14 contestants to the 43rd WorldSkills Competition, which will take place in Sao Paulo, Brazil from August 5-17, according to the Directorate of Vocational Training.
