Another 10,011 COVID-19 cases reported on September 26

Vietnam recorded an additional 10,011 COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours to 5pm on September 26, according to the Ministry of Health.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam recorded an additional 10,011 COVID-19 cases inthe past 24 hours to 5pm on September 26, according to the Ministry of Health.

Ho Chi Minh City, the country’s current largestpandemic hotspot, reported the highest number of infections with 35,121 cases,followed by neighbouring Binh Duong province (3,332), Dong Nai (746) and LongAn (171).

The country has to date logged 756,689 COVID-19 cases.

A total of 11,477 patients were given theall-clear on September 25, raising the number of recoveries to 527,926.

As many as 184 deaths related to the pandemic wereannounced on the day, raising the tally to 18.584.

On September 25, 787,838 doses of COVID-19 vaccineswere injected, bringing the total so far to 38.367.246./.
