ATM to be built on developing Ly Son island

The Agriculture and Rural Development Bank of Vietnam (Agribank) will build the first Automated Teller Machine (ATM) on Ly Son Island.
The Agriculture and Rural Development Bank of Vietnam (Agribank) willbuild the first Automated Teller Machine (ATM) on Ly Son Island.

VoPhu Tai, director of the Ly Son Agribank branch, said the bank will pay500 million VND (24,000 USD) to set up the ATM, starting next month.

Theisland, 30km off the coast of the central province of Quang Ngai, ishome to 21,000 islanders and often used as a summer holiday vacationspot. It connected with the national power grid and internet last year.

Earlier this month, the island debuted its first public taxi service.-VNA
