Bamboo Airways – the newest Vietnamese airline – launched an air route linking Ho Chi Minh City with the central province of Thanh Hoa on January 29, with the frequency of one flight per day.

Hanoi (VNA) – Bamboo Airways – the newest Vietnamese airline – launched an air routelinking Ho Chi Minh City with the central province of Thanh Hoa on January 29,with the frequency of one flight per day.
Dang Tat Thang,Bamboo Airways CEO, said Thanh Hoa is an important destination in the aviation– tourism development strategy of Bamboo Airways and property developer FLCGroup.
The launch of the routeshows the airline’s determination to contribute to the locality’s tourism, headded.
Bamboo Airways ispart of the Viet Bamboo Airlines Company based in Quy Nhon city of Binh Dinhprovince. Viet Bamboo Airlines Company, owned by property developer FLC Group,was established in 2017 with charter capital of 700 billion VND (30.2 millionUSD).
FLC has positionedBamboo Airways as a hybrid airline, blending low-cost traits with those oftraditional or full-service carriers to meet the demands of every marketsegment.
Along with the newroute, Bamboo Airways is operating others linking Hanoi with Quy Nhon, NhaTrang city of central Khanh Hoa province, Dong Hoi city of central Quang Binhprovince, Ho Chi Minh City, Buon Me Thuot city of the Central Highlandsprovince of Dak Lak, and Phu Quoc island in the southern province of Kien Giang,and between Ho Chi Minh City and Quy Nhon and Van Don district in northernQuang Ninh province, thus serving passengers during the lunar New Yearfestival.
The carrier will operate37 routes connecting major cities and tourist destinations at home and abroadin 2019, with up to 60 domestic flights per day.-VNA
