Binh Dinh partners with eight localities in tourism development
The Tourism Association of Binh Dinh province signed a cooperation agreement with its counterparts of eight localities in the coastal northern and north central regions on March 29 in efforts to establish Binh Dinh as a leading destination in Vietnam and the region.

Binh Dinh (VNA) – The TourismAssociation of Binh Dinh province signed a cooperation agreement with itscounterparts of eight localities in the coastal northern and north centralregions on March 29 in efforts to establish Binh Dinh as a leading destinationin Vietnam and the region.
Under this agreement, the tourism associationsof Hai Phong city and the provinces of Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Thanh Hoa, Hai Duong,Quang Ninh, Ninh Binh, and Quang Binh will give advice and assist Binh Dinh tobuild and implement tourism promotion plans.
In particular, travel companies inthe eight localities will help develop images of Binh Dinh as an attractivedestination, support local tourism units to take part in fairs and exhibitions,and popularise tourism via travel correspondents’ clubs and promotion events.

They will also conduct surveys toassess the tourism potential of Binh Dinh; maximise local advantages to createtypical products such as relaxation, sports and MICE tourism; design tourslinking Binh Dinh with destinations in the south central and Central Highlandsregion; and coordinate with local authorities to develop new tourism products.
The eight associations will help connect domestic and international travelfirms with service suppliers in Binh Dinh like restaurants, hotels, and placesof interest via farmiliarisation trips and events they organise.
Lam Hai Giang, Vice Chairman of the Binh Dinh People’s Committee, said hisprovince has made all-round investment in tourism development such as holdingmeetings with airlines and major travel businesses and opening new air routeswith a view to turning Binh Dinh into a leading destination.
He expressed his hope that thecooperation with the tourism associations and businesses of the eight provincesand city will also contribute to tourism development in all the localities./.
