Binh Duong seeks solutions for Taiwanese enterprises

The southern province of Binh Duong’s Customs Department held a dialogue with Taiwanese-financed enterprises on customs clearance, tax declarations and import and export activities on April 9.
The southern province of Binh Duong’s Customs Department held a dialoguewith Taiwanese-financed enterprises on customs clearance, taxdeclarations and import and export activities on April 9.

At the dialogue, questions were raised regarding the import of usedequipment, the destruction of remaining materials from exportoutsourcing deals, import tax refunds and how tax is calculated whenthere is a change in purpose of use.

Duong HongHanh, Deputy Director of the Department, responded to questions onnon-taxable cases when there is a change in purpose of use throughre-exporting or transferring to tax exempt entities.

The department also provided Taiwanese enterprises with customs declaration priority.

Huynh Vuong Duy, the economic division’s representative of the TaipeiEconomic and Cultural Office in HCM City, appreciated theadministrative reforms and increased interaction between Binh DuongCustoms and the enterprises.

The implementationof the VNACCS / VCIS system more than one year ago benefitedTaiwanese enterprises in their customs declarations and balance sheets,he added.

The Binh Duong Department alsoreminded enterprises of the strengthening of management over theirdigital signatures used on the VNACCS / VCIS system.-VNA
