Brunei, Malaysia review border delimitation progress

Kuala Lumpur (VNA)🐻 – Brunei’s Minister of Foreign Affairs II Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof arrived in Malaysia on July 22 for a two-day official visit to meet with his Malaysian counterpart Mohamad bin Haji Hasan with discussions on reviewing the progress of land and maritime border delimitation between the two countries.

Held annually, the EOL Meeting also serves as a preparatory forum for the 26th Annual Leaders’ Consultation between the two countries, which Malaysia is set to host in August 2025.
Brunei was Malaysia’s sixth largest trading partner within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in 2024, with total trade reaching approximately 1.77 billion USD./.
Xi Jinping said China is ready to strengthen strategic connectivity with Brunei, encourage more Chinese enterprises to invest and start business in the country, and support Brunei in diversifying its economy and developing its digital economy, artificial intelligence, and new energy industries.
