Hanoi (VNA) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc pr൩esented a report proposing the appointment of several Deputy PMs, Ministers and other Cabinet members during a National Assembly’s plenary session in Hanoi on April 8.

He said the report is based on the terms of the Constitution, the Law on Government Organisation, the NA’s resolution on the structure and organisation of the government and the number of Deputy PMs for the 13th tenure, the NA’s resolution on the appointment and discharge of several Deputy PMs, Ministers and other Cabinet members, and the Politburo’s conclusion on nominating leadership for election at the 13th NA’s 11 th session. The list of Cabinet members is as follows: - Politburo member Truong Hoa Binh, to be Deputy Prime Minister. - Politburo member Vuong Dinh Hue, head of the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission, to be Deputy Prime Minister. - Member of the Party Central Committee Trinh Dinh Dung, to be Deputy Prime Minister. - Politburo member Ngo Xuan Lich, Director of the General Department of Politics under the Vietnam People’s Army, to be Minister of National Defence.
- Politburo member To Lam, Deputy Minister of Public Security, to be Minister of Public Security. - Member of the Party Central Committee Le Vinh Tan – Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, to be Minister of Home Affairs. - Member of the Party Central Committee Le Thanh Long – Deputy Minister of Justice, to be Minister of Justice. - Member of the Party Central Committee Nguyen Chi Dung – Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment, to be Minister of Planning and Investment. - Member of the Party Central Committee Tran Tuan Anh – Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, to be Minister of Industry and Trade. - Member of the Party Central Committee Truong Quang Nghia - Deputy head of the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission, to be Minister of Transport. - Member of the Party Central Committee Pham Hong Ha, Deputy Minister of Construction, to be Minister of Construction. - Member of the Party Central Committee Tran Hong Ha – Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, to be Minister of Natural Resources and Environment.

- Member of the Party Central Committee Mai Tien Dung – Secretary of the Party Committee of Ha Nam province and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council, to be Minister - Chairman of the Government Office. Later, lawmakers discussed the report in groups. They are scheduled to cast votes to elect the above nominees on April 9.-VNA
