Hanoi (VNA) - The capital city of Hanoi will host Beautycare Expo, aninternational exhibition on beauty products, technologies and services, nextmonth.

It will provide a platform for local and internationalbusinesses to exchange information and explore opportunities for cooperation.

Thefirst edition of the expo will have nearly 200 booths set up by exhibitors frommany countries and territories such as the US, Italy, India, Japan, theRepublic of Korea, China, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Vietnam,who will showcase beautytechnologies and equipment, cosmetics, perfumes, hair care products, functionalfoods, beauty salon and aestheticequipment, and others.

Leading enterprises inbeauty industry such as VINHY Company and Quantum Heathcare will showcasetechnologies such as laser, intense pulselight, radiofrequency and high-intensity focused ultrasound,while NEU Skin will introduce anti-ageing products andhigh-quality cosmeceutical products from the US and the UK.

Besides high-techproducts for hospitals and beauty salons, exhibitors will also exhibit mini spaequipment.

Many pavilions willallow visitors to try new products and new hairstyles among other activities.

The expo will featurethe first Vietnam Korea Master Beauty Contest, which will honour artisans inseven segments: hair styling, skin care, nail care, make-up, massage andacupuncture, tattoo spraying, and eyelash extension, with lucrative prizes forthe winners.

The expo will facilitatetransfer of technologies related to natural product lines for skin and hair andother beauty fields by international firms to their Vietnamese counterparts.

Organised by Adpex JointStock Company, Vietnam Pharmaceutical Companies Association, Vietnam Associationof Small and Medium Sized Enterprises, and the General Department of VocationalTraining, the expo will be held at Hanoi International Exhibition Centrefrom January 9 to 12.-VNA
