China’s textile group invests in Quang Ninh industrial park

Chinese textile group Texhong kicked off a project to build infrastructure for an industrial park in Hai Ha district in northern Quang Ninh province on November 15.
Chinese textile group Texhong kicked off a project to buildinfrastructure for an industrial park in Hai Ha district in northernQuang Ninh province on November 15.

The park is part of the Mong Cai border gate economic zone that covered 660 ha.

The project, worth 4.5 trillion VND (225 billion USD), includes anindustrial plant, a management centre, a garment-textile business andservice areas to attract domestic and foreign investors.

It is expected to generate jobs for 30,000 people and provide momentum for the Mong Cai border gate economic zone.

The Chinese group plans to set up a science-technology company tocreate a an industrial apparel production chain with a total investmentof 6.4 trillion VND (320 billion USD), scheduled to commence in early2015.

Local authorities pledged to continueimproving investments in transport, electricity and water supplyinfrastructure, while accelerating the ground clearance process toensure its progress.-VNA
