Coffee Trade Fair opens in Dak Lak province

A Coffee Trade Fair kicked off in Buon Ma Thuot city in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak on March 9, as part of the ongoing 7th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival.

Dak Lak (VNA) – A Coffee Trade Fair kicked off in Buon Ma Thuot cityin the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak on March 9, as part of the ongoing7th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival.

The fair features 800booths of 230 businesses operating in the coffee sector, including 65 booths of18 foreign enterprises.

Vice Chairman of theprovincial People’s Committee Nguyen Tuan Ha, who is also head of the festivalorganizing board, said that the event aims at promoting coffee products of DakLak and Vietnam at large to both domestic and foreign visitors.

It also offers achance for enterprises, scientists and farmers to meet and promote trade, investmentand technology transfer.

Visitors are also treatedto coffee products right in Vietnam’s “coffee capital” and entertained with artperformances of the ethnic minority groups, Ha added.

The fair will remainopen to visitors until March 13.-VNA
