The Vietnamese embassies in China, Japan and India opened two-day respect-paying ceremonies and condolence books for Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on July 25.

General Secretary of the South African Communist Party (SACP) Solly Mapaila on July 24 afternoon came to the Vietnamese Embassy in South Africa to pay his respects and sign the condolence book following the passing of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong.

Vietnamese embassies across the world held ceremonies to pay tribute to and open condolences books for former Party General Secretary Do Muoi, who passed away in Hanoi on October 1 at the age of 101.

The Vietnamese Embassies in Germany, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and Turkey on September 26 held ceremonies and opened condolence books in tribute to President Tran Dai Quang.
