Hanoi (VNA)– Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh on August 21 sent amessage of condolences to Sierra Leonean Minister of Foreign Affairs and InternationalCooperation Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara on heavy losses in the recent mudslidedisaster in Freetown capital.
Sierra Leone mediareported on August 20 that the death toll in the mudslide and flooding onAugust 14 had amounted to 499, and more than 600 others remained missing.-VNA
