Hanoi(VNA) – The Vietnam International Trade Fair for Construction, Mining &Transport – Machinery, Equipment, Technology, Vehicles and Materials (ContechVietnam 2017) opened in Hanoi on April 25, attracting numerous domestic andforeign exhibitors.
Speaking at theopening ceremony, Vice President of the Vietnam Construction Association ThaiDuy Sam said the event will enable domestic firms to access modern constructionequipment from foreign manufacturers.
Outstandingconstruction and mining equipment exhibits come from TekMac, XCMG, UMAC, NipponSharyo, Almix Asia, Fujian South, Nanyang Liaoyuan while construction materialsare displayed by Johs Rieckermann of Germany, Hoffen of Thailand and Poyatos ofSpain, among others.
A series ofconferences and seminars will be held on the sidelines of the event, includingseminars on environmental protection technology in the mining industry; andgreen, energy-efficient building materials.
