A fashion show featuring Da Lat city’s best and most renowned silk and brocade products has been held in the Central Highlands city as part of activities to mark its 125^th founding anniversary.

The fashion show features designs made from traditional local materials including Bảo Lộc silk and Lâm Đồng brocade. 50 models from Hà Nội and Hồ Chí Minh City, along with local models and 40 students from Đà Lạt gathered to walk the runway.

Ten silk workshops and 11 Vietnamese designers will participate in the show. 📖They have introduced the latest designs on Bao Loc silk and broadcade by K’Ho and Chau Ma people, two ethnic groups residing mainly in Lam Dong province.

Bao Loc city, Lam Dong province is aiming to turn sericulture into a spearhead industry, and provide jobs for thousands of workers in the locality. With high quality silk products, they are qualified for exports, making the name for Bao Loc silk in the international arena./.
