Da Nang (VNA) 𓂃- Vietnam Airlines resumed direct flights between Japan’s Osaka and Da Nang on July 3, with Flight VN337 marking the first service on the route after a long hiatus.
A welcome ceremony was held at the international arrival hall of Da Nang International Airport, attended by representatives from the Japanese Consulate in Da Nang, city authorities, aviation officials, and Vietnam Airlines.
Passengers were greeted with traditional performances reflecting both Vietnamese and Japanese cultures. The first three arrivals received gifts and round-trip tickets, while others received welcome bags and travel vouchers.

Nguyen Thi Hoai An, Deputy Director of Da Nang’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said the resumption of direct routes supports two-way tourism and cultural exchange.
