The defence ministries of the two countries are working hard to prepare for the12th Vietnam-India defence policy dialogue at the deputy ministeriallevel in Vietnam in December, Vinh said.
For his part, Pranay Verma said defence cooperation has become one of the majorpillars of the Vietnam-India comprehensive strategic partnership.
He pledged to promote collaboration between the armies of the two countriesduring his tenure in Vietnam, for the sake of the two peoples, and for peace,stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world./.
Vietnam and India hold huge potential to enhance tourism cooperation as they have long-standing relations and share similarities in cultural values, particularly direct flights between the two nations will serve as momentum for people-to-people exchange and bilateral trade and investment, said Vietnamese Ambassador to India Pham Sanh Chau.
Ha expressed his hope that cooperation in science and technology, agriculture, and natural resources would emerge as new focal points and engines of growth in Vietnam–China relations.
