Hanoi, March 28 (VNA) – Minister of National DefenceGen. Phan Van Giang is leading a delegation to pay an official visit to theRepublic of Korea from March 27-29 at an invitation of his counterpart of Republic ofKorea (RoK) Lee Jong-sup. The visit aims to implement the common perceptions reached between the twocountries' high-ranking leaders; exchange ideas on the world and regional situations,contributing to enhancing mutual understanding, trust and support at international forums; and orienting major defence cooperation contents between thetwo militaries, bringing about practical outcomes, and serving security interests of bothsides./.
