Dien Bien: Two men caught carrying 20,000 meth pills
Two traffickers were arrested for carrying 20,000 meth pills by border guard and anti-drug police forces in the northern border province of Dien Bien on August 30.

Dien Bien (VNA) – Two traffickers were arrested for carrying 20,000 meth pills by border guard and anti-drugpolice forces in the northern border province of Dien Bienon August 30.
Whilepatroling in Hin 2 village, Na Sang communue, Muong Cha district around 8:20pm, the inter-sectoral task force spotted two suspects driving two motorbikes on National Highway No. 12 towards Muong Lay township.
The task forcerequested them to stop for checking but they sped up in an attempt to escape. The two men were ultimately put under control and found to carry 20,000 meth tablets wrapped in three separatepackages with yellow tapes.
They are GiangA Chinh and Ly A Lu, both 30, residing in Ket Tinh village, Muong Muon commune, Muong Chadistrict.
They confessedto have bought the drugs from a Lao national across the border and be on theway to Lai Chau to distribute the drugs.–VNA

A hub for sharing best practices, the event aims to forge solutions for financial sustainability, public media contracts, audience engagement, content innovation, and newsroom restructuring. It is also a moment for Vietnam’s media to accelerate its progress and figure out what the “revolutionary press” means in a new era.
From “Thanh nien”, Vietnam’s first revolutionary newspaper founded by Nguyen Ai Quoc (later President Ho Chi Minh) on June 21, 1925, the revolutionary press has remained devoted to its sacred missions -accompanying the nation, serving the Fatherland, and working for the people.
