The Prime Minister issued a decision allowing the application of several preferential policies for domestic vaccine production projects with the aim of helping Vietnam meet the domestic demand and latter export surplus products.

As part of the decision,domestic vaccine producers will be offered loans from the VietnamDevelopment Bank to upgrade their production chains in order to producemultivalent vaccines domestically and reduce imports. Producers can alsobenefit from State-supported preferential interest rates.
Additionally, vaccine producing projects will benefit from supportpolicies and mechanisms, such as the antibiotic production projects thatfollowed on from the Prime Minister’s Official Note No.918/TTg-KGVXissued on June 8, 2011.
They will also beentitled to hire 10-15 hectares of land in the Hoa Lac High-TechPark to build production facilities, with businesses facing landdifficulties given priority to.-VNA
