The "Empower Youth for Future Success in Ha Nam Province" programme is designed to equip these young people with a comprehensive set of skills, including social, financial, employability, and entrepreneurship skills. Supported by the PepsiCo Foundation, the programme will be implemented over a 12-month period and will feature a variety of practical activities. An intensive training of 40 lecturers from vocational schools across Ha Nam province will be a major component of the project, with the curriculum aligned to international standards. Once trained, these lecturers will deliver the course to 1,000 students and 200 young people at vocational training centers to reach the maximum number of beneficiaries. The courses will be learner-centered, applying modern teaching methods and diverse tools to maximize learning outcomes.
The project will not only foster employable skills for these young people, but will provide an opportunity for exposure to the business world. Upon completing the training, students and young people will have the opportunity to engage with local businesses at a large-scale job fair and participate in a “Start-Up Competition” to explore innovative ideas and projects. These opportunities will give participants the chance to network, participate in on-site training and workshops, and be directly recruited — significantly improving their employment prospects.
