Exhibition on President Ho Chi Minh opens at former revolutionary base
A document and photo exhibition on late President Ho Chi Minh was opened at the ATK Dinh Hoa revolutionary base relic site in northern Thai Nguyen province on May 13.

Thai Nguyen (VNA) – Adocument and photo exhibition on late President Ho Chi Minh was opened at theATK Dinh Hoa revolutionary base relic site in northern Thai Nguyen province onMay 13.
The display is held in therun up to the late leader’s 131st birthday (May 19, 1890 - 2021); 74years since President Ho Chi Minh, the Party Central Committee, and theGovernment moved to ATK Dinh Hoa to lead the resistance war against Frenchcolonialists (May 20, 1947), and 110 years since Ho Chi Minh left the countryto seek ways for national salvation (June 5, 1911).
Outstanding items on displayinclude a photo of Nguyen Ai Quoc, the then name of Ho Chi Minh, and his Frenchcomrades in 1923; a letter he sent to Jean Ajalbert, a journalist with manyarticles about Vietnam on French newspapers, on August 3, 1919; and a photo ofPresident Ho Chi Minh and delegates to the international conference forsolidarity with the people of Vietnam against the US invasion at thePresidential Palace on November 30, 1964.

The exhibition is designed togive visitors an insight into the life and revolutionary career of President HoChi Minh, honour his enormous contributions to the Party, the country, and theinternational communist and workers’ movements, and reflect the Vietnamesepeople’s gratitude to and worldwide peoples’ respect for him.
It also aims to educate theyoung on the revolutionary leader’s ideology, morality, and lifestyle.
The event, organised at theATK Dinh Hoa exhibition hall in Dinh Hoa district, will last through June 30./.
A plan on preserving the Memorial to President Ho Chi Minh in Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district, Nghe An province has been announced, with T&T Group being the sponsor of the project.
A book entitled “The Black Race by Ho Chi Minh and Selected Works on Systemic Racism” made debut in Canada at a virtual launch on February 20 during which participants highly valued the late Vietnamese leader’s thought of the issue.

A contest on President Ho Chi Minh entitled “Uncle Ho in My Heart” has recently been launched by the Vietnamese Youth Union in Saint Petersburg, as part of the activities to mark the late leader’s 131st birthday (May 19).
For the first time, the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) has granted Vietnam hosting rights for the two championships, including the Asian women’s solo category, which debuts this year as an officially recognised event.
Eight teams will join the tournament, divided into two groups. Group A features Vietnam, the Philippines, Sichuan Club (China), and Australia, while Group B consists of Vietnam U21, Korabelka Club (Russia), Taiwan (China), and U21 Thailand.

The U23 competition will run from June 16 to 22, followed by the U17 event from June 23 to 28, while athletes competing in the U23 category will undergo weight and skill checks ahead of the matches starting June 18, while similar checks for U17 athletes will take place before June 23.
