FM Spokesman reiterates VN’s sovereignty over Truong Sa, Hoang Sa
Vietnam has indisputable sovereignty over Truong Sa and Hoang Sa archipelagoes and any activities conducted in the area without permission and agreement from Vietnam are wrong and void.

Vietnam has indisputable sovereignty over Truong Sa (Spartly) and Hoang Sa (Paracel) archipelagoes and any activities conducted in the area by other countries without permission and agreement from Vietnam are wrong and void.
Foreign Ministry Spokesman Le Hai Binh made the remarks at a regular press conference in Hanoi on September 10 while being asked about Vietnam’s response to China installing 4G coverage in the Hoang Sa archipelago.
“We have asserted repeatedly that Vietnam has indisputable sovereignty over the Truong Sa and Hoang Sa archipelagoes. That other countries conduct activities there without permission and agreement from Vietnam is illegal and completely worthless,” he stated.-VNA
The chair of the Council for Appraisal of Artifacts, Historical and Legal Evidence for Vietnam’s Sovereignty over Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) has said that there is much legal evidence affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over the two archipelagos, the English-language news website VietNamNet Bridge.
An international conference themed “Hoang Sa-Truong Sa: Historical Truth” was held in the central city of Da Nang on June 20, drawing the participation of nearly 100 leading Vietnamese and foreign researchers from various countries, including the US, Russia, France, India, Japan and the Philippines.
