Foreign dentists gather at Hanoi congress

The 7th Vietnam International Dental Exhibition and Congress was opened in Hanoi on August 7, drawing the participation of more than 1,000 experts, including those from 17 countries around the world.
The 7th Vietnam International Dental Exhibition and Congress wasopened in Hanoi on August 7, drawing the participation of more than1,000 experts, including those from 17 countries around the world.

Theannual event is co-organised by the Vietnam Odonto – StomatologyAssociation, the Hanoi-based National Hospital of Odonto – Stomatology,and the World Dental Federation.

During their three-day sitting,experts will share their knowledge on 33 special subjects from cosmeticdental surgeries, teeth implants, and speech therapy for children withcleft lip/palate, to preventive dentistry.

Opening the event,Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Viet Tien said Vietnam’s odonto –stomatology sector has made observable strides in the past years, andthis year’s function is a chance for local dentists to access theworld’s latest expertise and techniques in the field.

In parallelwith symposiums, an odonto – stomatology exhibition is also takingplace with more than 100 booths introducing advanced dental equipmentand materials as well as oral care products made by the world’s topbrands.-VNA
