Fourth Book Fair opens in Hanoi

Hanoi (VNA) – This year’s book fair themed "Books and Start-ups" openedat Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Hanoi, on September 22, drawing a crowd ofvisitors.

The event, the fourth of its kind, features 155 stalls of 32book companies, publishing houses and distributors nationwide. The fairintroduces books on different fields, and foreign books.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s CommitteeNgo Van Quy said the book fair aims to send a message of the importance ofbooks and knowledge for those who want to have successful start-ups.

Apart from creating a reading culture space with exchanges,seminars and book introduction, the organising board spends a space on “bookand start-ups”, displaying books on start-ups, innovative products, guidance onhow to approach start-up funds, Quy added.
