Hanoi (VNA) -ꦅ Global ICT company FPT Software, a subsidiary of the FPT Corporation, signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a strategic partnership with Vilja, a leading Nordic core banking service provider based in Stockholm, in the framework of the recent Vietnam-Sweden Business Forum 2024.

Leveraging FPT Software's extensive technical expertise and global reach, the partnership is expected to introduce Vilja's first banking platform and cloud-based application programming interface to global businesses, with an initial focus on the rapidly growing digital economy in Asia. The collaboration also includes establishing a research and development centre in Asia which will specialise in pioneering diverse innovations to meet the increasing demand related to digital banking, particularly in areas of deposits and loans.
