HCM City (VNA)🅘 – The Global Sourcing Fair Vietnam will take place from April 26-28, 2023, expected to become a direct trade bridge connecting buyers and suppliers, and meeting the increasing demand for product supplies from Vietnam and the ASEAN region.
TheVietnam National Trade Fair and Advertising Company (Vinexad) under the Ministry ofIndustry and Trade, and the Hong Kong-based Global Sources, unveiled the information on December 6, saying that it will be held at the Saigon Exhibitionand Convention Centre (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City. Thefair, the first of its kind in Vietnam, is expected to bring together more than 500 booths and attract more than 6,000buyers from the US, Europe, Asia and other parts of the world. Vinexad Deputy General Director PhamDang Khanh said that Global Sourcing FairVietnam is hoped to bring visitors an opportunity to discover new and popularproducts of key industries in Vietnam, including household appliances,furniture, gifts, handicrafts, fashion, accessories, textiles and fashionaccessories. Thesuppliers participating in the fair are mainly those who are qualified forexporting goods, he added.
HuWei, CEO of Global Sources, said that as Vietnam is one of the important andstrategic destinations for supplies, and is becoming amanufacturing centre of the world thanks to its advantages in terms of geographic location, import-export taxes and improved infrastructure, many internationalbusinesses-and-businesses buyers started looking for supplies of goods fromVietnam.
