A fair displaying Vietnamese high-quality goods and traditionalproducts from many localities throughout the country will take place inHanoi from October 10-13, according to the Vietnam Association ofSmall and Medium-sized Enterprises.
Featuringabout 300 booths, the fair aims to mark the 60th anniversary of thecapital city’s liberation and the 10th anniversary of VietnameseEntrepreneurs Day.
Nguyen Thu Trang from the centre for businessintegration and development said the event is expected to attractmore attention from consumers to made-in-Vietnam goods, while furtherpromoting the campaign “Vietnamese people priorities using Vietnamesegoods”, she added.
According to Nguyen Manh Hung,Chairman of the Vietnam Standards and Consumer Protection Association,since it was launched over 5 years ago, the campaign has contributed tochanging consumers’ awareness of Vietnamese ware as well as theirshopping habits.
More and more locally-madeproducts have been sold in supermarkets and shopping centres, gainingthe trust and support of consumers.
The fair will offer a good chance for domestic enterprises to bring their products closer to consumers, Hung said.
Inthe framework of the event, consumer meetings and workshops will beheld, focusing on how to effectively access customers and boost marketlinks.-VNA
