Hanoi Trade Corporation (Hapro), a multi-sector State-owned enterprise, has sent a delegation to Angola to seek trade partnerships.
Hanoi Trade Corporation (Hapro), a multi-sector State-owned enterprise,has sent a delegation to Angola to seek trade partnerships.

The company and its members intend to build warehouses, open storechains, and invest in a number of sectors including woodwork and foodprocessing in Luanda and Benguela provinces.

During their trip, the delegation met up with top officials of the Angolan provinces and introduced them to their plan.

The head of the Southern African country’s department for privateinvestment sector and mayors of the target localities warmly welcomedthe firm’s move.

The mayors presented somepotential land available for rent and the department approved a projectfrom the Nam ngoi sao Company, a Hapro’s member, within a week.

Hapro has exported rice to the Angolan market thus far and will soonopen a distribution centre in the port city, Lobito, paving the way forother products to enter surrounding markets.

Sofar, Hapro has had 2 HAPRO Shopping Centres, 3 Market Centres, 40supermarkets and HaproMart convenient stores, 44 Haprofood shops sellingguaranteed products and other specialised store systems across Vietnam.-VNA
