Hanoi’s junior, senior citizens get New Year gifts

Co-hosted by themunicipal chapters of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Youth Union,the event received warm response from philanthropists and members ofthe Hanoi Association of Young Entrepreneurs.

Alsoon the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year, the municipalAssociation of Students donated candies, blankets, jackets and clothesto the Hanoi Centre for Social Sponsorship No.1 in the outlying districtof Dong Anh.

In addition, 40 gifts, each worth300,000 VND (14 USD) were presented to the elderly and the homeless whoare being cared for in the centre.

The association also visited and extended New Year wishes to foreign students living in Vietnam.-VNA
