Da Nang(VNA) - The first American-made motorcycle, the iconic Harley-Davidson, hasintroduced its first showroom in the central and central highlands region incentral Da Nang city.
It’s also the thirdofficial authorised agent of the American motorcycle manufacturer in Vietnamafter HCM City and Hanoi.
The Da Nang-basedcentre, which was invested by Al Naboodah International (Vietnam) company, willprovide full service, spare parts, and accessories for modification amongmotorcycle lovers in the central region.
The famous Americanmotorcycle manufacturer introduced its first showroom in HCM City in 2013 andHanoi in 2015.
Harley Davidson was madepopular in HCM City during the American war in the 1960s, but the motorcyclehas become a firm favourite on Hanoi streets, with the capital’s 80-strongHarley-Davidson club making its debut in 2010.
According to the VietnamRegistration Department, 8,682 motorbikes with engine capacities of more than175 cc were imported to Vietnam between 2014 -15. - VNA
