HCM City establishes concentrated quarantine facilities in districts for asymptomatic COVID-19 patients

The Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee on July 21 decided to set up concentrated quarantine facilities in its districts and Thu Duc city for COVID-19 patients who show no symptoms, to ease the pressure on hospitals amid the complicated developments of COVID-19 pandemic.

HCM City (VNA)🦹 – The Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee on July 21decided to set up concentrated quarantine facilities in its districts and Thu Duc city for COVID-19 patients who show no symptoms, to ease the pressure on hospitals amid the complicated developments of COVID-19 pandemic. 


🐽 Those facilities will receive patients withoutclinical symptoms and underlying diseases and monitor their health so as to promptlydiscover abnormal symptoms that are likely to turn serious.

In case the condition of any patients worsens, the facilities must promptly put them on oxygen ventilators, and transfer them to hospitals for timely treatment.

💃 Vietnam, France collaborate in vaccine production technology transfer

Under the agreement, VNVC and Sanofi will gradually implement technology transfers to enable domestic production of several key Sanofi vaccines that are widely used in Vietnam. In addition, Sanofi will support VNVC in training human resources and quality management in vaccine research and manufacturing.
