At a meeting with Hiroshige Seko, Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretaryof Japan, on April 12, Hai said his city has built the AgriculturalHi-Tech Agriculture Park (AHTP) and the Bio-tech Centre in order towelcome Japanese investors.
He took the occasionto thank the Japanese Government for providing official developmentassistance (ODA) loans for development projects in Vietnam in generaland in HCM City in particular.
Being impressivewith the development the city has achieved, Hiroshige Seko said thatprojects funded by Japanese ODA in HCM City produced certain effects,proving the effective cooperation between the two sides.
The city, Seko suggested, should continue cooperation with Japanese partners to deepen the ties.
HCM City is not only a production base but also a big market forJapanese commodities, he said, adding that the relationship will benefitboth sides.-VNA
