HCM City (VNA) – The Club of Chief Financial Officers (CFO Club)will convene its 48th World Congress in Ho Chi Minh City from November 15-16.

Addressing a press conference onOctober 18, President of the Vietnam Association of Corporate Directors (VACD)Han Manh Tien said that this is the first time Vietnam has hosted the event,demonstrating the development of the country’s financial sector, as well as theattention paid towards the capital by the business community.

The conference will offer achance for Vietnamese CFOs and senior finance personnel to meet 120 renownedexperts and speakers in the financial sector to learn about trends andrequirements to change financial management in the digital era.

Tien said the congress, includingfive discussion sessions, will focus on the economic prospects of Vietnam andAsia, as well as the role of financial technology (Fintech) for the financialsector in the future.

In Vietnam, most small- andmedium-sized enterprises have a weak financial administration system, whichhampers them during the integration process.–VNA
