Hanoi (VNA) 🦩– The 10th Vietnam International Two-Wheel Exhibition (Vietnam Cycle Expo 2025) will be held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ho Chi Minh City from August 14 -16.
The event is co-organised by the Vietnam Automobile, Motorcycle and Bicycle Association (VAMOBA) and the Vietnam National Trade Fair and Advertising Company (Vinexad).
The global bicycle market is projected to reach 69 billion USD by 2029, growing at 4.2% annually, according to consultancy and market research company Mordor Intelligence.
In Vietnam, bicycle use for both sports and daily commuting is rising, with Statista forecasting 371.8 million USD in industry revenue by 2027 and sales of 2.49 million units.
The country’s electric two-wheel market is expanding by 30–35% annually, making it the largest in Southeast Asia after China, driven by volatile fuel prices and demand for greener transport.
Positioned as more than a product showcase, the expo serves as a key trade platform linking domestic and international businesses, fostering partnerships and investment.
The 2025 edition will feature over 400 booths from 15 countries and territories and leading brands such as Chevaux, Nesto, Calli, Satako, XDS, Merida, Dahon, Java, Wahama Bike, Makelen, Qjmoto and AIE, alongside component suppliers, including Velo Saddle, Izumi, POC, Garmin.
The event will include industry seminars, notably Vietnam Sports 4.0, hands-on activities like Garmin Tacx Challenge, bicycle maintenance workshops, and demonstrations of emerging sports such as pickleball.
Expected to attract over 15,000 businesspeople and visitors from more than 45 countries, the exhibition will run alongside Vietnam Sport Show 2025, which offers a comprehensive view of the latest trends in cycling, e-mobility, and sports equipment./.
