HCM City to host Vietnam in’l garment and textile industry exhibition

Hanoi (VNA) –🍒 The Vietnam International Garment and Textile Industry Exhibition - VTG 2024 will take place in Ho Chi Minh City from September 25 – 28.

The event, which will gather over 380 exhibitors from 12 countries and territories around the world, will feature the latest technological advancements in fabrics, yarns, and accessories, and comprehensive textile solutions, machinery for footwear production, and computerised sewing machines. It will focus on promoting digital transformation in footwear production, and environmentally friendly dyeing solutions to help Vietnam's textile industry meet the stringent EU ESG standards.
The event will include seminars on technological advancement, automation, and sustainability in the Vietnamese textile and garment industry, as well as the circular economy, sustainable development, and global supply chain integration. Vietnam’s economic outlook for the footwear industry is an important topic to be undertaken at the event, as are strategies to improve the value of the textile and garment industry through high-impact fabric supply chains. The exhibition is jointly co-organised by the Vietnam National Trade Fair and Advertising JSC (Vinexad) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd., the Guangdong Sewing Equipment Chamber of Commerce, the Guangdong Shoes-making Machinery Association, and the Paper Communication Exhibition Services.
VTG 2024 will take place in parallel with the Vietnam International Textile and Apparel Accessories Exhibition (VITATEX), the Vietnam International Dyeing & Chemical Industry Exhibition (DYECHEM), and the Vietnam International Footwear Machinery and Material 2024 (VFM), creating a comprehensive exhibition series on textile and garment and supporting industry supply chain. It is expected to serve as an international platform for professional exchange and a catalyst for the transformation of the garment and textile sector./.
