HCM City’s post office, tunnels among top Asian landmarks

HCM City once again proved itself to be a must-visit place in Asia as TripAdvisor travellers named its network of wartime tunnels and a 130-year-old post office among the top 25 landmarks of the region.

 HCM City (VNA) - HCM City once againproved itself to be a must-visit place in Asia as T👍ripAdvisor travellওers namedits network of wartime tunnels and a 130-year-old post office among the top 25landmarks of the region.

Cu Chi Tunnels, a 200km complex built andgradually expanded by Vietnamese fighters between the late 1940s and the 1960s,ranks eighth in the list.

Located in the city’s surburban district of CuChi, the tunnels were used to shelter fighters battling US soldiers during the war,complete with hospitals, living spaces and storage areas.

Trip🌺Advisor travellers also picked the ancientAngkor temples, the Taj Mahal, the Great Wall of China, the Buddhist temple🍨s inThailand and Myanmar, the modern Petronas Tower in Kuala Lumpur and theSingapore Flyer. - VNA
