 Binh Duong (VNA) - The Korean Chamberof Commerce and Industry (Kocham) in Binh Duong inaugurated its headquartersbuilding in the southern province on March 17.

Covering an area of 1,500 metre square, the eight-storeybuilding is built by the Binh Duong Kocham Ltd Co (established by Kocham ofBinh Duong branch) with a total investment of 2 million USD. 

It provides not only office space for businessesfrom the Republic of Korea (RoK) operating in Binh Duong province but also avenue for cultural activities of RoK nationals working and residing in thelocality.

Lee Kwi Jong, Vice Chairman of Kocham Binh Duongsaid the province has launched many policies to improve the local investmentenvironment and develop infrastructure, thus attracting the interest of RoKfirms.

He said the new headquarters willcontribute to luring more investment from RoK to the province.

To date, the RoK is the third largest foreigninvestor in Binh Duong with 570 projects with total investment of more than2.25 billion USD. –VNA
