Hanoi (VNA) –
Up Co-working Space and the Vietnam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank (VPBank) jointly opened ahi-end working space in Hanoion October 10 to provide maximum support for the Vietnamese start-up community

Founder of the UPCo-working Space Do Hoai Namsaid businesses will have opportunities to experience the A-standard workingspace at the UP@VPBANK with reasonable expenses.

Furthermore, UP@VPBANKwill offer the best assistance for innovative start-ups and potential financialtechnology (fintech) businesses to promote creativity and competitiveness, hesaid.

They will getfinancial, accounting and legal support from investors, and have opportunitiesto work together, connect and cooperate to realise the goals of “start-up city”and “start-up nation”, he added.

A representative fromVPBank said the bank hopes to create a strong momentum in the development of the start-up community in Vietnam.

In 2017-2018, VPBankStart Up will spend at least one million USD to directly support Vietnamese start-ups.

The strategiccooperation between UP and VPBank is expected to be an important step for the start-up community.

The two sides plan tohost a number of activities, including major contests, to support and promoteinnovative start-ups in Vietnam.

The UP@VPBANK hi-endworking space is located at the 21st floor of VP Tower 89 Lang Ha.
