On display are 600 documents, books, newspapers, photos, posters, andmaps, all declaring Vietnam’s sovereignty over the two archipelagos.
Theexhibits underlined the especially important role of sea and islands inthe country’s socio-economic development, and national security anddefence.
Documentary films on national seas, islands and bordersare being screened during the five-day event, which aims to helppromote patriotism, solidarity and sense of responsibility among peoplefrom all walks of life in protecting sea and island sovereignty.-VNA
