The Hong Bang International University (HIU) has signed a strategic co-operation deal with India’s Aieraa Overseas Studies to train Indian and other Asian students in medicine starting in 2021-2022.

HCMCity (VNS/VNA) – The Hong Bang International University (HIU) hassigned a strategic co-operation deal with India’s Aieraa Overseas Studies totrain Indian and other Asian students in medicine starting in 2021-2022.
Aeiraahas experience in recruiting and sending Indians around the world to study,especially medicine.
HongBang will train the students entirely in English based on the standard nationalmedical training programme with changes made to meet global standards.
Besidestheoretical and clinical knowledge, the international students will also learnVietnamese language and culture. They will be trained at large and prestigioushospitals in the university’s associated network to hone their skills.
Thecourse will be for six years.
Atthe online signing ceremony, Do Manh Cuong, Chairman of the Hong BangInternational University Council, told Aieraa: “Doctors and medicalprofessionals who graduated from HIU are currently working in most hospitals inHo Chi Minh City and the southern provinces of Vietnam. With adequate andmodern facilities, along with a team of qualified, experienced and humaneprofessors, we will not disappoint your trust in us.”
Deepa,Director of Aieraa Overseas Studies, said, “I hope not only Indian students,but more and more students from the region will come to HCM City to study, notonly professionally but also participate in community activities and learnabout its culture."/.
Many universities in HCM City offer programmes in English to enable their students to communicate in that language when they work elsewhere in the ASEAN Economic Community, within which the bloc’s nationals can freely migrate.
Many universities in Ho Chi Minh City plan to provide scholarships to students whose families’ livelihoods have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic or who live in the Mekong Delta and are affected by drought and saltwater intrusion.
Universities have developed a variety of assistance programmes to help students access higher education, including loans, scholarships, housing and food aid.

In recent decades, Vietnam’s mainstream media has become a reliable and persuasive channel for showcasing the nation’s development policies and achievements, especially in economic matters, according to a senior assistant editor at the Times of India.
A hub for sharing best practices, the event aims to forge solutions for financial sustainability, public media contracts, audience engagement, content innovation, and newsroom restructuring. It is also a moment for Vietnam’s media to accelerate its progress and figure out what the “revolutionary press” means in a new era.
From “Thanh nien”, Vietnam’s first revolutionary newspaper founded by Nguyen Ai Quoc (later President Ho Chi Minh) on June 21, 1925, the revolutionary press has remained devoted to its sacred missions -accompanying the nation, serving the Fatherland, and working for the people.
