Imperial citadel newly-excavated area opened to tourists
The Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Centre plans to open a new excavation area, north of Doan Mon relic site, to visitors from January 20 to February 28.

Hanoi (VNA) – TheThang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Centre plans to open a new excavationarea, north of Doan Mon relic site, to visitors from January 20 to February 28.
The centre will displaymaterials on Doan Mon playground and hold an exhibition on Vietnam’s imperialclothing, with 15 sets of clothes worn by Trinh Lords and Nguyen Kings.
Exhibitions on Tet (Lunar NewYear) pictures, Vietnam’s heritage photos, bonsais and flowers will also beheld.
Tourists to the Thang Long ImperialCitadel during Tet can also enjoy many traditional Vietnamese cultural and artactivities.

A collection of 638 items and more than 100 photos and maps featuring Hanoi’s Thang Long Imperial Citadel were handed over to Ho Chi Minh City on September 28.
A spring festival kicked off at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel in Hanoi on January 29 as part of the activities to celebrate the Lunar New Year (Tet) and the 86th founding anniversary of the CPV.
More than 18.3 hectares of Dien Bien ward in Hanoi’s Ba Dinh district will be zoned off for the Thang Long Imperial Citadel relic site’s central sector under a detailed planning.
Eight teams will join the tournament, divided into two groups. Group A features Vietnam, the Philippines, Sichuan Club (China), and Australia, while Group B consists of Vietnam U21, Korabelka Club (Russia), Taiwan (China), and U21 Thailand.
