New Delhi (VNA) – HCL Technologies Ltd, a leading globaltechnology company of India, has recently announced its entry into Vietnam whereit aims at boosting employment, providing resources and skilling local talentto serve its global clients.

HCL’s local entity, HCL Vietnam Company, aims to fostergrowth and train the nation’s talent pool in collaboration with local ICT andengineering institutions, the company said in a statement.

From its first delivery centre in the Vietnamese capital ofHanoi, HCL will deliver advanced technology solutions to its global client baseacross several industries and verticals, including banking and financialservices, healthcare, infrastructure, engineering and cybersecurity, it said.

HCL began its business operations in Vietnam in July 2020,with a goal to hire more than 3000 local university graduates and experiencedprofessionals over the next three years. A key part of HCL’s business anddevelopment strategy in Vietnam will be to provide the right skilling andplatforms to train graduates for career opportunities in hi-tech domains andprovide them with the requisite exposure of working on global assignments.

To kick start its operations in the country, a Virtual JobFair will be held for graduates and experienced professionals on December 19.
