The Famtrip delegation visited a number of touristattractions in the locality like white sand dunes in Mui Ne, While Lake (BauTrang) in Hoa Thang commune (Bac Binh district) and Poshanu Cham Tower, and examinedaccommodation services in Ham Tien-Mui Ne and Phan Thiet city.
On this occasion, the delegation engaged in anexchange with leaders of the local tourism sector and travel companies in BinhThuan, where they were briefed on potential and strength of the province.
According to the provincial Department of Culture,Sports and Tourism, Binh Thuan has more than 420 accommodation establishmentswith nearly 14,000 rooms, including three five-star and 29 four-star facilities.
Apart from beach resorts, water sports and exploringtours, Binh Thuan has joined hands with Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, the Central Highlandsprovince of Lam Dong and southern central localities to develop tours ofvarious types.
The number of visitors to Binh Thuan has risen by 10percent each year since 2013, of which foreign holiday-makers increased by 12percent.
In the first six months of 2017, the provincewelcomed 2.3 million tourists, of which 295,000 are foreigners.-VNA
