A Japanese firm delegation led by Vice President of the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) Tatsuhiro Shindo is paying a visit to Ho Chi Minh City to look for investment opportunities.

HCM City (VNA) – A Japanese firmdelegation led by Vice President of the Japan External Trade Organisation(JETRO) Tatsuhiro Shindo is paying a visit to Ho Chi Minh City to look forinvestment opportunities. 

At a meeting on January 18 with the Japanesedelegation, Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Le Thanh Liemappreciated the delegation’s visit, adding that the city is ready to supportJapanese enterprises in doing business in the city. 

He pledged that the municipal authorities will alwayslisten to foreign enterprises, including Japanese firms, in a bid to timelyaddress their difficulties and create a healthy investment environment forinternational businesses.  

Tatsuhiro Shindo thanked the municipalauthorities for their assistance to the JETRO office in the city, thusfacilitating the linkage of firms of the two countries. 

He underlined Japanese firms’ interest in Ho ChiMinh City and neighbouring localities, and asked Ho Chi Minh City to continuesupporting JETRO and Japanese firms in business and investment activities inthe city, thus contributing to boost the Vietnam – Japan rapports on variousareas.-VNA
