Japanese special advisor vows to work for Vietnam-Japan ties

He pledged to continuefacilitating the reception of Vietnamese agriculture trainees to Japanand cultural and people-to-people exchanges.

Takebealso spoke highly of the outcomes of talks between the Vietnamese andJapanese PMs during the host’s recent visit to Japan, saying theJapan-Vietnam relationship has come a long way and is deepening.

The guest assured his host that he will convey the PM’s proposal tosurvey the planting of wildly-popular cherry blossom trees in Vietnam toJapanese leaders upon his return.

The VietnamesePM, for his part, asked Takebe to push bilateral hi-tech farming andfisheries cooperation forward, invite Japanese inflows into Vietnam’smajor projects and receive more Vietnamese workers, nurses and traineesto Japan.-VNA
