Khanh Hoa to bring clean water to more islanders

Khanh Hoa (VNA) ꦏ– The central coastal province of Khanh Hoa will build and upgrade 13 rural water-supply facilities this year, three of which are designed for the province’s island communes.

The island commune of Cam Binh in Cam Ranh will be provided 50 billion VND (2.17 million USD) to build clean water reservoirs and water supply networks to bring hygienic water to nearly 5,200 islanders. The same amount of money will be invested in Hon Tre island in Nha Trang to build clean water facilities for locals and tourism activities. Meanwhile, about 2,900 locals on Van Thanh island in Van Ninh district will benefit from wells and water reservoirs worth 800 million VND (34,700 USD). Aside from the island communes, Khanh Hoa will also build and upgrade water supply facilities in Dien Loc, Dien Hoa, and Dien Binh communes in Dien Khanh district; Cam Hiep Bac in Cam Lam district; Cam Thinh Tay in Cam Ranh; Ninh Tay in Ninh Hoa town; and Khanh Trung in Khanh Vinh district.-VNA
