Vietnam and Kyrgyzstan officially established diplomatic relations on June 4, 1992. Over the past three decades, the two countries have maintained a strong cooperative relationship. Today, their friendship continues to grow, creating numerous opportunities for collaboration, particularly in the fields of economy, trade, and investment.
In 2024, two-way trade between Vietnam and Kyrgyzstan reached 21.5 million USD, an increase of 172% compared to 2023. Of this, Vietnam exported 10.8 million USD worth of goods to Kyrgyzstan and spent 10.7 million USD on imports from Kyrgyzstan.
Vietnam and Kyrgyzstan will deepen parliamentary ties, including maintaining close coordination and mutual support at multilateral parliamentary forums.
