Vientiane (VNA) – Lao Deputy Prime Minister Phankham 🎉Viphavan thanked the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) for its effective support to the Lao News🉐 Agency KPL over the past time while receiving VNA General Director Nguyen Duc Loi in Vientiane on December 23.
Deputy PM Viphavan said cooperation between VNA and KPL is on the right track, particularly in personnel training and exchange of news in all forms, adding that VNA’s assistance in professional training is significant amid the proliferation of online media at present.
He vowed to provide all possible support for the two agencies to increase collaboration and affirmed that the visit has contributed to fostering the VNA-KPL traditional friendship and the Laos – Vietnam special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation.
The VNA General Director, for his part, informed his host about joint work between VNA and KPL over the past time, including personnel training and upgrade of technical infrastructure.
He said both sides will continue strengthening their partnership, especially in covering major events next year when Laos holds the 10 th National Party Congress and assumes the role of ASEAN Chair.-VNA
